Xkunvat

Since I first heard of this recipe through, I believe it was whilst reading Holm tal-Milied , I always wanted to try this recipe.  To my amazement not a lot of people are aware of this traditional Maltese recipe.  Last week whilst rummaging through an old recipe book I found this xkunvat recipe and decided to try it out.

I found that it was easy and very fun to make, because you can shape the dough stripes in whatever shape you feel like.   It was an instant hit with my family and friends 🙂  Hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I did.
