Easy vegetarian dip with garlic taste complementing it with the nice almond taste, good for starters and as a nibbling snack.
Ingredients
80 gram roasted almonds |
3 garlic cloves |
130 grams cheese spread |
140 grams salad cream |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
fresh parsley and mint |
If the almonds are not roasted, place the almonds on a baking sheet and place in the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes, until a smell a rich nutty aroma. Remove the almonds from the oven and let them cool. When the almonds have cooled down enough to be handled by hand, place them in the blender and pulse until the almond become small crumbs.
Add the garlic gloves and blend them with the almonds. Add the cheese spread, salad cream, mayonnaise, the chopped parsley and mint to the mixture. Blend until all ingredients are combined together. Use parsley to garnish and store in refrigerator before serving. Serve with bread sticks or crackers.
